The very act of resting is the hardest and most courageous act a person can perform.

Group meditation to enliven the body, heart and mind.
As we move into fall and wrap our bodies in warmth for winter we are enticed to slow down. Slowing down we must for this is a time for deep nurturing – when the longer nights invite more sleep, more rest, more inner listening and more peace within. Following the rhythms of nature brings us peace and wise kindness towards ourselves and others.
To encourage you to lean into the natural rhythms of slowing down and healing we are offering a special 5-week meditation session on lovingkindness or metta.
Lovingkindness is a meditation practice that intentionally evokes friendliness and compassion towards yourself and others. Each week you will strengthen and deepen in this practice to warm the heart and tenderly settle the body.
A compassion practice is the perfect way to enter the holiday season. Research studies have shown that compassion builds our resiliency to handle anxiety, stress and challenging situations by treating ourselves with kindness. Please join us for engaging conversations and to explore lovingkindness meditation.
