My Approach

I use a holistic approach to coaching with a primary focus on work related issues. What this means is that if you are struggling at work, new to the role, looking to leave, starting a new business, dealing with difficult people or simply striving for more from your life; we’ll explore the mental, emotional, spiritual or physical well-being needs which support you on your journey. So, it’s not just about work stuff. It’s about “You” stuff that is getting in the way of being who you want to be. If there is an area that I don’t feel qualified or comfortable working with you on, I’ll let you know.


Who I Work With

Most of my clients think of themselves as falling into one or more of these areas:

  • Emergent Leaders are those who are new to a leadership role and feeling challenged on how to move forward or deal with the dynamics of the workplace. Through confidential conversations we work together on individualized goals, reflections, feedback, and behavioral changes to help foster cultures of continuous improvement, skill-building and self-awareness essential for leading teams.

  • Executives who see themselves as either new or experienced. Through personalized development approaches, I enhance existing leadership skills, strategic decision-making, and overall effectiveness. Our confidential one-on-one relationship may involve goal-setting, skill development, or navigating the interplay between the personal and the professional. My intention is to empower executives to lead their organizations by developing the willingness to transform from a willful self-focused drive toward organizational success.

  • “Transitionals” are those who are looking for a restart, at a fork in the road or seeking greater satisfaction in their professionals lives. We’ll talk through what “greater satisfaction” for you, what your goals and options are, “what floats your boat”, fires you up and what feels stuck that perhaps needs some loosening then what works best for you to move forward.

Many people check “all of the above” and that’s fine…we’ll start from wherever you’re at.


What YOU CAN Expect

I use an integrated framework that combines the best practices and principles of leadership coaching, mindfulness and organizational change management; tailoring what’s needed to your specific wishes, desires or objectives. This framework serves you in creating a customized approach to your development as a leader; equipping you with the skills, mindset, and strategies needed to guide yourself, your teams and your organization. The focus is to build on your existing toolkit to fosters cultures of adaptability, innovation, and sustained success.

You can expect me to create and hold a safe space where we can confidentially talk about what is going on and you can leave with a clearly defined list of next steps, homework or areas of reflection for us to continue working with the next time we meet.


Free Initial Consultation

After you contact me I’ll reach out via email to schedule an initial meeting (usually about 15-30min)

In that meeting we’ll:

  • Get to know each other a bit

  • Talk about your experience with coaching

  • Go over the ground rules

  • Share my background and coaching focus areas

  • Learn what you’d like to get out of our time together

  • Answer any of your questions

  • If it looks like a good fit, schedule our first session and establish a regular meeting cadence


How We’ll WORK Together

  • Virtual coaching sessions are 50-minutes

  • Each session can be on the same topic or something new that has taken priority.

  • You drive the agenda to:

    • Identify goals or outcomes to help you get the most out of the session

    • Review or get feedback on any steps you committed to in an earlier session

    • Explore values, perspectives, learnings or limiting beliefs driving you toward or away from where you want to go

    • Build an action plan to get there

    • Address any stuff that might get in the way

    • Lock-in that plan so you can take the next step on your journey

    • Confirm or schedule our next meeting
